Stewed Apple Bowl

This bowl of goodness makes the perfect breakfast, mid-morning snack, or dessert! It contains plenty of prebiotics and probiotics to support your gut health and keep your digestion it check. Course Breakfast


  • 1 apple small, diced
  • 1-2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 dollops Greek yogurt or yogurt of choice
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts chopped


  • Melt coconut oil in pan over medium heat and add diced apples
  • Add honey, cinnamon, and salt to apples and sauté for 10 minutes
  • Add water and continue to sauté for about 5 more minutes or until apples are soft
  • Add rolled oats to apples and stir to combine
  • Remove apples from heat and add to a bowl
  • Top with a few dollops of yogurt, chopped walnuts, and a dash of cinnamon. Enjoy!
