Better than cookie dough – chocolate chip hummus!
We are never going to say no to cookies or even dough (though avoid raw eggs!) but chocolate chip hummus delivers more of a nutrient punch. Enjoy it more often.
What can you enjoy it with? Try fruits and non-starchy vegetables or roll into a ball for a pre-workout boost of energy.
Chocolate Chip Hummus

- ½ cup organic canned garbanzo beans make sure to drain and rinse
- ½ cup rolled oats or oat groats
- ½ cup almond butter
- 3 Tbso hemp seeds
- 1 Tbsp raw organic honey, coconut or allulose syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp unsweetned almond milk other milk or water
- ½ cup mini dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs

- Place garbanzo beans, hemp seeds and nut butter in a food processor and blend until dough consistency
- Add the oats, honey, vanilla and almond milk and blend until smooth. Mixture should be soft and creamy like hummus. If it’s not, add another 1-2 Tbsp milk or water if needed.
- Remove to a bowl and stir in chocolate chips.
- Serve with sliced non-starchy vegetables, fruit slices, berries, crackers
