Easy Creamy Jalapeno Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 Cup Raw Cashews
  • 1 Roughly Chopped Jalapeno (adjust more or less to your taste)
  • 1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 2/3 Cup Filtered Water
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1-2 Peeled Medium Clove Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak cashews in hot water for 15-20 minutes. Make sure they are completely covered.
  • Drain the cashews and add them to a high-speed blender with all other ingredients.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Optional: Chili lime seasoning
  • Taste and tweak to be delicious to you! More nutritional yeast will increase cheesy flavor, more lime will amp the tang. Want more heat? Add more jalapeño or add some chili lime seasoning to taste.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.
