Detox Broccoli Dip (Vegan & Non Vegan)

A detoxifying dip? Yep, you heard right. Broccoli is rich in glucoraphanin, an antioxidant that supports our body’s detox system. Glucoraphanin also help to prevent heart disease, optimize blood sugar levels and address unhealthy inflammation! Enjoy it as a delicious dip with some radishes for extra detox benefits.   • 3 cups broccoli small florets
  • 2 garlic cloves sliced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup ricotta or vegan ricotta
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder dried
  • 10 radishes washed & sliced



  • In small saucepan, combine olive oil and garlic and over low heat. Warm the mixture for approximately 2-3 minutes until the garlic just about starts to sizzle. Remove from heat and set aside for approximately 10 minutes, then discard garlic slices.
  • Steam broccoli until tender, approximately ~5-7 minutes. Place broccoli in blender or food processor, with ricotta, olive oil, salt and mustard powder.
  • Pulse until mixed but still chunky consistency or desired texture.
  • Serve with radish slices and other crudite; or spread onto mustard greens and roll-up into a "hand roll" style appetizer
