Karen's Nut/Seed Butter

Indulge in the rich, creamy goodness of homemade nut/seed butter! Made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients, this nutty delight is bursting with flavor and packed with nutrients. Spread it on toast, drizzle it over oatmeal, or simply enjoy it by the spoonful—nut/seed butter is a versatile and delicious addition to any meal or snack.


  • 16 oz Unsalted mixed nuts of choice, roasted works best (Substitute the mixed nuts for roasted sunflower seeds to make a delicious sunflower butter!)
  • 2 Tbsp Flax Seeds (adjust to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds (adjust to taste)


  • Add all ingredients to a powerful blender (like a Vitamix).
  • Start on a lower speed using the plunger to mix ingredients.
  • Slowly increase speed and blend until you have the creamy texture of your choice.
  • Add to a mason/glass jar and ENJOY!
  • Optional: Cinnamon, Cacao powder, Salt, Any other spices/flavors you love!
  • This makes ~16oz, similar to a standard jar of nut butter and can be stored in the pantry or refrigerator to your preference.
