  • 2/3 cup spelt flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup maple crystals
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Dash of sea salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup almond butter

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9” baking pan with oil and flour. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, maple crystals, baking powder and salt.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, coconut oil and vanilla.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir to combine. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and drizzle the almond butter over top.
  • Drag a butter knife in horizontal lines across and then vertical lines down the batter, creating a marbleized pattern in the almond butter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted into center of pan comes out clean.
