Avocado Hemp-Pesto Toast

  • 1 piece whole grain bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon hemp pesto
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 drizzle balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 avocado mashed
  • Salt to taste


  • Combine ½ mashed avocado with hemp pesto, set aside.
  • Soft boil one egg or cook egg any style of choice (poached, over-easy, hard-boiled, etc.).
  • Toast slice of bread and add avocado mash mixture on toast. Sprinkle over hemp seeds, dash of red pepper, and salt.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over toast and add the egg on top.
