Apricot Chickpea Smoothie

This is great for a pre/post workout smoothie. It is also a great way to please your sweet tooth without adding extra sugar! The banana and dried apricots provide sweetness, and the cinnamon helps that sugar get into your cells to be used as energy, better. Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 6 dried apricots
  • 1/2 can organic chickpeas
  • 1 cup unsweetened organic almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions
 

Directions

  • Blend ingredients until smooth consistency, adjusting milk to desired consistency
  • Pour into two glasses and enjoy.
