Karen's Nut Milk

- 1 Tbsp Nut butter of choice (Nut butters without flax/chia work best. These tend to be too thick and hard to strain).
- 1 Cup Water
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well.
Strain the milk through cheese cloth, a nut milk bag or a straining tool.
Store in a glass jar or container in the fridge. It will last 5-7 days.
4 cups makes a quart of milk.
This is a no waste recipe if you reserve the strained material and add it to a smoothie or yogurt!
Optional add ins: Cinnamon, Drizzle of honey, Pinch of salt, Vanilla Extract
